Czeslaw Lukaszewicz won the Ciego de Avila stage race along with VeloSelect-Silber rider Jaime Rodridrigez won the elite category race held over three dsays. In the picture he was second. But due to a clerical error he won the overall. Also in the picture is one of riders Erytan who won the first stage of a race in the Domincan Republic.
