Lourde perte pour l'équipe junior
Une grosse perte pour l'équipe junior. Trevor Damen, après sa première victoire au New Jersey, a chuté au sprint le lendemain se fracturant un poignet. Il espère être de retour pour les nationaux à la fin de juin.////A big loss for our junior team. Trevor Damen after winning his first race of the season in new jersey last week got caught up in a crash at the sprint of the second race and fractured his wrist. Hopefully he will be ready for nationals at the end of june.
Alejandro est arrivé
Alejandro est finalement arrivé hier et il est très motivé de courir avec l'équipe junior. Il vous dit tous bonjour à vous et vos familles et sera prêt à courser pour la deuxième étape de la série Robert Brisson. Alejandro et Véloselect voudraient remercier Michel Detry pour avoir prêté un vélo à Alejandro pour la saison.////
Alejandro has arrived and is very motivated to ride with junior team. He would like to say Hola to everyone and their families and will be ready to race at the second GP Robert Brisson. Alejandro and Véloselect would like to thank Michel Detry for loaning a bicycle to Alejandro for the season.
Course par étapes à St Raymond
Première course par étapes à St Raymond pour les juniors Véloselect. Une malchance pour Trevor Damen lorsqu'au début de la première course sa chaîne s'est brisée. Il a dû abandonner et n'a pu participer aux autres étapes. Les autres juniors ont travaillé fort sur un parcours très côteux. Beau travail pour Pierre-Yves Aubin, première année junior, qui a terminé en 14 ième position au général.

Véloselect's first weekend stage race was held in St Raymond. Bad luck struck Trevor Damen at the very beginning of the first stage with a broken chain thus not able to compete for the last two stages. The rest of the team worked hard on a hilly course and a nice jod by our first year junior Pierre-Yves Aubin with a 14th position in the general classification.
Félix manque le podium par une seconde
CLM GRANBY TT :
3 top dix a granby dimanche. Chez les cadets Félix manque le podium par une seconde terminant 4 ème. Cycliste de première année chez les minimes Shawn Turcotte termine avec une belle 9 ème position et Trevor Damen de l'équipe junior avec une solide 9 ème position dans des conditions de pluie et de froid.
//3 top ten finishes in Granby on Sunday. In the cadet categorie Félix misses the podium by one second with a solid 4 th place finish. First year racer Shawn Turcotte in minime places 9 th and for our Juniors Trevor Damen also with a solid 9 th position in the rain and cold.
GP SUPER C BROSSARD
Il y avait seulement trois juniors présent pour cette course. La course s'est dérouler a une vitesse folle du début a la fin. Trevor Damen a encore fini dans les top dix (dixième) et Pierre -Yves a fini onzième. Bravo les gars. Pour les plus jeunes Félix a fini deuxième au sprint de peloton , le gagnant traversant la ligne avec une bonne avance. // We had three riders present for the Brossard race. The race was run at a high pace from beginning to end. Trevor Damen with another top ten (tenth) and Pierre-Yves finishing eleventh. Good job guys. For the younger riders Felix won the pack sprint finishing second , the winner crossing the line with a large lead.
